![]() Hello IPS families!
Our annual family ski day is fast approaching: on Friday, February 16 (it's the PA day before the Family Day weekend) a number of you will be hitting the slopes at Horseshoe Valley Resort for some skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cross country skiing, and/or fat biking. (Or, if you prefer, sitting in the chalet and waving. Why that hasn't gotten to the Olympics yet is a true mystery.) If you're in a hurry, you can click here to order your package right away, but here are a few tips: This is set up by Horseshoe as a school trip kind of thing where students usually arrive in a bus, so we're stretching their definition a bit: you're responsible for getting there yourselves, and everyone has to go in at the same time. That means you need to be there before 9AM, or you'll miss out! The event is set up for students in grades 1-6. If you've got a kindergarten student (or younger) you'll take care of that on site. We're only selling packages for grades 1-6 and the adults going with them, please buy younger children packages on site (regular pricing info is here.) Also, to speed up check-in, they need to know a bit of info in advance, including your children's height and weight. It's for the rentals, but please fill it in even if you don't need equipment to ensure there's no confusion at the resort from missing numbers. There's also a waiver that has to be signed once for every child that's going. We're doing everything electronically this year, except for this. For this deal to work, you need to send those waivers back to the school in your children's backpacks right away. You'll see a link to it after you order, but you can also find it here if you lose that. While the event's on the 16th, there are some files we need to send to Horseshoe before that, so we've got about a week for this all to happen. If you'd like to join in the fun, click here to place your order. Your questions should be answered on that page, but if there's anything you're unsure about, or the form isn't working for you (hey, it's new!) just hit reply to this mail and we'll get you sorted out. Thanks, and we'll talk soon! |
