Donate to our United Way Campaign through your employer

You or any donor to any United Way across Canada can designate their United Way gift to The Lighthouse Foundation (IPS Charitable Foundation.) The United Way sends all designated funds to The Lighthouse Foundation on a quarterly basis with notification of who the donor is and the type of donation (one-time, payroll, stock transfer, monthly, pledge payment.) Your workplace campaign payroll deductions will be sent as part of this transfer.

Directing your donation is easy!
On paper: It can be made by completing the back/reverse side of the United Way pledge form and indicate you would like to direct all or a portion of your donation to The Lighthouse Foundation. Please write in the full name of our foundation in the "To another Canadian registered charitable organization" section along the Lighthouse Foundation's Charitable Registration Number: 119242105RR0001
Online: You can make a workplace campaign donation through your United Way @work. Please fill out the "To another Canadian registered charitable organization" section along with The Lighthouse Foundation's Charitable Registration Number: 1119242105RR0001
Will I get a tax receipt for my donation? Yes. One-time gifts will receive a tax receipt following the donation from the United Way. Gifts made as part of a workplace campaign by payroll deduction will have the donation recorded on the T4 statement from your employer.
